January in this area has become a regular shoot because I have some seasonal work in the area. I have over the years also been very fortunate with the weather conditions. This time I was not quite so lucky with only one morning being free of rain and dense grey cloud.

Even this morning, squally rain clouds scudded across the sky and it was a morning for the wide vistas rather than close details.

Normally I would break North for the weekend but the forecast was grim so I postponed that trip for later in the spring.
